This all-levels hot yoga class is accessible to everyone, beginners to experienced students alike. Set to music in a room heated up to 102 degrees and at 40 percent humidity. This set-sequence class uses functional commands to direct students in and out of postures, blending the elements of true Hatha yoga and Ashtanga-inspired vinyasa power flow. You will work the entire body, toning your muscles, promoting a healthy weight, and reducing stress. This class is a journey you can take daily to improve yourself physically and mentally. Classes are 60 minutes.
Recharge with this vinyasa flow inspired sequence that will tone your body, develop flexibility and open yourself up to all the possibilities that lie within you. While this sequence may vary by class, it will emphasize the importance of connecting breath with movement beginning with foundational sun salutations. Additionally, this class may offer more challenging postures including standing balance, arm balancing and inversions. Modifications and variations offered for all poses so that the intensity and challenge accommodates the student. Be prepared to have fun, sweat, tone and break through both physical and mental limitations. Room heated to 95 degrees.
This hybrid yoga class combines active movement followed by calming stillness. This 60 minute class begins with vinyasa flow practice connecting breath and postures. You will connect deeply with your body and explore the subtleties of sthira and sukham—effort and ease--as you move through an active and stimulating sequence.
From there you will progress down to your mat for luxuriously long-held yin holds, focusing on the hips and shoulders—and everything connected— to create awareness and space in your joints and connective tissues. Class is not heated.
Please wear comfortable clothing. All of the following are optional, choose the items that will make you the most comfortable you can be as you lie in a sleep state on the floor for 45 minutes. The studio has limited supplies available.
*YOGA MAT – provides some cushion between body and floor
*1 to 4 BEACH TOWELS OR BLANKETS – used to prop the body for comfort or to cover the body as many people tend to feel cool during Nidra
*PILLOW OR NECK PILLOW – provides additional cushion between the head and the floor
This class combines core-building yoga principles, high-intensity interval training, and cardio. This class is challenging, but there is no impact so it is safe for all fitness levels. Modifications are given to accommodate all students. Conducted in a heated room, this high-energy class builds strength and endurance. Props may be used. This class will help you build a stronger core; create long, lean muscles; increase flexibility, and burn fat. Room is heated to 95 degrees.
