In 2003 Heidi Malano began her professional career working in health industry as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. While she discovered how to be strong on the outside it wasn’t until she discovered yoga and began to understand what it was to truly be healthy on the inside, too. The love she found for the practice both on and off the mat made her to want to share and teach it to others. In 2011 she earned her 200-hour certification through Authentic Yoga Teacher training with Dave and Cheryl Oliver. As she continued to grow a student and teacher she eventually went on to pursue more training with John Salisbury; completing her 300-hour certification in 2015. Today she continues to share her love for yoga and overall wellness teaching at the Village Health Clubs.

Arm balances and inversions can be extremely beneficial when practiced safely. They challenge your comfort zone, help you gain strength, a new perspective, overcome fears and much more... Despite the many reasons to incorporate some of these postures into your practice there is still a lot of mystery around how one can progress. Even an experienced practitioner can feel intimidated, stuck and bound by limitation.

Please join Heidi Malano as she leads us on the pathway for progression. She will be teaching healthy skill building techniques, proper alignment and the anatomical awareness necessary for overcoming some of the physical and mental challenges associated with getting upside down and/or learning to fly. This is a great way to bring new levels of confidence and courage into your practice.
